Attwood House Community Centre prides itself on delivering high quality early childhood education and care programs to families with young children.
The focus is on providing an accessible and affordable service for all families within one location.
Parents can expect that their child will be cared for by qualified and experienced early childhood educators and carers in an environment where each child is respected and treated as an individual and where they are supported to make their own choices. It is important that parents feel that their children’s needs are understood, respected, responded to and supported at all times.
Through our early childhood programs we aim to support children to develop social skills like playing with others in a cooperative and rewarding way, emotional skills to ensure that they develop an understanding of how others feel, confident communication and interpersonal skills, literacy and numeracy skills like reading stories and counting, developing friendships and being exposed to new ideas and concepts.
Attwood House’s early childhood education and care programs provides your child with opportunities to become more independent ensuring strong foundations for future learning. Our program assists your child to express themselves through language, art and imaginative play.
Our qualified early childhood educators work with parents to prepare children developmentally, emotionally and socially which is particularly important for children who are moving on to 15 hours of 4yo kindergarten or commencing primary school.
